Public Bus – Auckland Transport Route 502
For those traveling by public transport, Auckland Transport bus 502 stops at the bottom of Carsons Road. From there, expect a 50-minute walk through Whakanewha Regional Park before arriving at Batch Winery — a beautiful introduction to this part of Waiheke Island. It is a scenic walk through NZ native bush and is predominantly up hill, so be prepared with appropriate footwear and water bottle. The wine and view at the top of the hill is worth it!
