The Legacy Wine Club Terms & Conditions

By registering as a member of the Legacy Wine Club, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions: 
1. Membership Requirements 
1.1 Under New Zealand law, members of the Club must be 18 years of age or older. 
2. Membership Commitment Details 
2.1 A six or twelve pack of Batch Winery Thomas Legacy wines will be delivered to the member’s nominated delivery address every six months for $338 or $676 per delivery as per the club membership. 
2.2 The member will receive their first club wine pack as soon as we process the payment and on the next following membership anniversary. E.g.: Joining the club in March, you will receive in the next 6 month billing cycle a wine pack until the cancellation of the membership. 
2.3 Members can opt out any time by using their member's area on the website or providing written notification by email no later than five business days before the end of the month preceding the club dispatch.
3. Membership Benefits 
3.1 Twenty-five per cent (25%) discount on legacy wines across our online store and at our cellar door.
3.2 Free shipping on wine club shipments within New Zealand.
3.3 Twenty five per cent (25%) discount on legacy wines by the glass and by the bottle at our restaurant (up to $500 max discount applied)
3.4 Access to museum wines, limited editions and exclusive offers.
3.5 Invitation and access to member-only events.
3.6 Seasonally promotions crafted for members only. 
4. Membership Benefits Rules & Restrictions 
The membership benefits are subject to the following rules and restrictions: 
4.1 Club members are eligible for all membership benefits from the date of membership sign-up. 
4.2 The exclusive member prices are valid on all legacy wines (2013 vintage not included) retailed at the Batch Winery Cellar Door and Online Store. Food, Merchandise, gift packs, e-gift card are excluded from the 25% discount.
5. Membership Payment 
5.1 By joining the Legacy Club, the member authorises Batch Winery to debit his/her credit card with an amount equivalent to the Club Payment within the week of the month of dispatch. 
5.2 If the member’s nominated credit card account is changed or reaches its expiry date, the member must provide updated details no later than five business days before the end of the month preceding Club dispatch. 
5.3 If the member’s registered credit card account is invalid, including an outdated expiry date, all membership benefits will be suspended until valid credit card account details are provided. 
6. Membership Shipping 
6.1 Batch Winery only dispatches Club wines to New Zealand residential addresses that are recognized as valid shipping addresses by NZ Post services. If a member has residency overseas we can arrange shipment as per contacting us at Price vary as per country. 
6.2 Shipping is free for all Wine Club case shipments on New Zealand and shipping cost is free for any online purchases on New Zealand.
6.3 If there is no one at the delivery address, NZ Post will leave a card and deliver the wine to the nearest depot post for collection. Proof that the person collecting the items is the recipient and of legal age to receive the goods will have to be shown. Alcohol is not handed over to persons who evidence themselves as being underage.
6.4 The member will be responsible for any additional shipping charges plus a 10% administrative fee for all returned and/or re-shipped packages due to the member’s failure to provide correct shipping details and/or their failure to collect their wine from the Post Office. 
7. Membership Deferment and Cancellation 
7.1 Legacy Club members can defer or cancel their membership at any time.
7.2 Cancellation on the Batch Winery's website members area or written notification of cancellation via no later than five business days before the end of the month preceding Club dispatch. 
7.3 All member benefits will cease upon cancellation or deferment of the membership.
7.4 A membership will automatically continue unless written notification of cancellation is received. 
7.5 Batch Winery reserves the right to terminate a Club membership or Club member benefits at any time without notice. 
8. Member Data Collection Information 
8.1 It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their details and online profile are accurate and up to date. Batch Winery is not responsible for changes made to the member account by the account holder and/ or any other persons with the account holder’s access details. 
8.2 Requests made to Batch Winery to update member details must be made in writing via
8.3 Batch Winery will only use personal information provided on the Club application form to send Club wine purchases and winery news that may be of interest to the member, such as, but not limited to, tastings, exclusive offers, events, and new release information. 
8.4 Batch Winery will not sell or share members’ personal information with any third parties, except to the extent necessary to deliver products or information to members, for example mailing houses and delivery contractors. Any third parties to whom such information is provided are instructed to delete or destroy these details immediately after use. Batch Winery may also share personal information with its related companies, as otherwise specified in its Privacy Policy. 
8.5 Members may opt-out of receiving e-communications from Batch Winery at any time. 
8.6 Batch Winery will retain member credit card details in a secure environment in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
9. Conditions Subject to Change 
9.1 Batch Winery may at any time and at its sole discretion change these Terms and Conditions. Any such changes will be communicated under our website Your continued membership following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.
