The growing season took a turn for the best in Hawkes Bay: very hot and dry conditions prevailed, gifting our 2016 Hawkes Bay Cabernet Merlot with a well-balanced yet powerful bouquet of smooth dark red fruits and silky tannins. Each variety in this Bordeaux was harvested and vinified separately, matured in French and new oak for 12 months, and then blended before bottling.
