Waiheke Island is just a short 35 minute fast passenger ferry ride from downtown Auckland city or 45 minutes by passenger/vehicular ferry ride from Half Moon Bay Howick. Catch a taxi or drive your car or rental car to Batch Winery, or take a helicopter or small plane to land at the airfield in the vines.
